Perfect location. Couldn’t be any better placed right under the Charles bridge. Very quaint and warm area with outside market and food. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable, breakfast was fine.

Great location, very helpful and friendly staff, very comfortable and clean rooms, very nice breakfast with hot choices you can order from their menu combined with a cold buffet. For the five days we stayed in Prague, hotel Ikona became our home away from home. Since we were visiting Prague for the first time, we asked for recommendations for food, things to do, cafes, ATMs, etc. Martin from the reception gave us great tips, and we sampled and loved all the food places/menu items he recommended. Petr from the reception was also very helpful with taxi arrangements, restaurant reservation, and even getting breakfast packed for us and put into the refrigerators in our rooms the day before since we were leaving very early to catch a flight and would miss the hotel's breakfast hours. We will definitely be back.

The place is very well located, right in the centre. The staff is very nice, there is a man at the reception who was very kind to us and he would always stand up when greeting us. The place is cleaned very well and still feels mostly new, even though it was renovated in 2015. The mattress is very comfortable and also the fact that you get two blankets even for double beds is nice - no more fighting over one with your patner. The breakfast was very good, even if mostly repetitive. The pancakes were the best I've ever tasted.

This stunning bridge is pictureseque and like something from a postcard. However, especially on the weekends, it is absolutely swarming with tourists at all hours of the day and night, and so I would recommend getting there early in the morning (on a weekday) to maximise your visit. Otherwise, it's really hard to appreciate the architecture and history, and it is very busy with tourist-based vendors.

Amazing view and the way from the Narodni museum to the bridge is wonderful by walk. You get to see and experience different shops, eateries etc. It was raining when we were there so we didn't get to stay long on the bridge itself. But worth visiting.

Beautiful fantastic historical journey across the bridge. Do some research on the statues you will see before you go. We went up to the castle first then walked down to Charles Bridge and crossing into the Old Town area.

Bustling in the afternoon, but still a wonderful walk across this amazing bridge where artists line the streets between statues of old. And the views of the city are breathtaking. Early in the day would be the least traveled times for less traffic, but any time of the day is still work the stroll.

We were so concerned about the crowds from watching travel blogs but it was fine. Leave the bridge and stroll down to the Lennon wall. It was a quiet reprieve and peaceful setting. Loved the artists set up along the bridge and bought a lovely watercolor of the city to enjoy for years to come.

Hebrew writing on the cross was a punishment for the jews for false allegations of blasphemy. Small plaque near the floor give details although the wording on English plaque is milder then the one in hebrew. City seem embarrassed of past crimes.
It was a very big apartment in the heart of the old town of Prague near the Charles bridge and Astronomy clock. Very comfortable and clean apartment with many facilities and a nice view of the city. You can reach all attractions by walk.
I have only accolades for the apartment and Kate! The apartment was top notch. Also, the neighborhood was comparable to the finest districts in Paris and New York. Kate was a great hostess and was greeted warmly on arrival. The location was perfect and close to the Charles bridge which is magnificent. Local restaurants were great and very inexpensive. If I get back to Prague I will stay here again!! thanks Kate.

The hotel is in the heart of old town just a few mins walk from the old town square, Charles bridge, the old jewish quarter and the Klementinum. Lots of restaurants around. We had an exceptional stay at the Luxury Family Hotel Royal Palace. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and conformable. The breakfast was great and the staff very friendly and helpfull. The location is very convenient to visit the Prague castle and Charles bridge and not that far from Wenceslas square and the famous astronomical clock.
Very nice apartment, well equipped with all that you need, located close from the historical sites (10 minute walk to the Prague astronomical clock/City Hall, 20 minute walk to the Charles Bridge, 30 minute walk to the Prague Castle)
