Fleur de Lys is conveniently located to museums, hospitals, shopping, and about 30 minutes to the airport. There are great restaurants nearby. The hotel is clean and every room is unique. The staff is wonderful. I was so happy to have a mini fridge in the room, too, so I could buy some groceries. They have a nice breakfast, too. Fleur de Lys has become my home away from home.

We liked the small size of the property. It's located in central San Jose within walking distance of many tourist attractions. The beds were very comfortable and the room was large. Towels were very soft and the robes were good.

Easy to get a bus to anywhere…cheap.We stayed at the Hotel Colonial, very good and cheap, a few blocks walking distance. There was a great Columbian restaurant right across the street from the hotel and other restaurants and shops close by…The pedestrian shopping street

The bed was amazingly comfortable & there was netflix to watch on the flat screen TV. The staff were also really nice. Location was good, close to the Tracopa bus station. It was also very clean.
This was my second time staying at the Costa Rica Backpackers. The staff is great, the Wifi works well, there is a pool to chill out after a long travel day, and the beds have little curtains for more privacy. The hostel is established and within walking distance of many cute restaurants and the Tracopa bus station. I'll be back soon.
Breakfast was good and big. Location is a short simple walk from Tracopa bus station. Very friendly patrons. Stayed here quite a few times, same smiling staff.
Short walk to the Tracopa bus station, which was perfect for catching that 5am bus. Close to San Jose's Mercado Central and lots of restaurants, etc. The lady who checked me in was incredibly kind, and used Google translate to explain that there's usually a girl who speaks English but she wasn't there that day. There's a nice big kitchen which I didn't use, and an attractive sitting area.
