The location is perfect, right by the river with stunning views, although there was some road construction nearby (no night noise, and it’s beyond the hotel’s control). The hotel has beautiful Chinese character, amazing views, and a lovely one-person bathtub in the room.
The staff went above and beyond (particularly this lady who unfortunately I forgot the name, apologies)—they were extremely helpful, assisted me with booking a sunrise tour to Xiangong Mountain, and provided great recommendations for other places. The hotel restaurant serves high-quality traditional local food and seems highly rated locally.
At the end of my stay, they surprised me with a box of traditional tea as a gift. The tea is delicious; I’ve already tried it since returning home. All of this at a great price!

We really liked the Bamboo Leaf Hotel and the staff, especially Vivianne who helped us with booking tours and borrowing scooters and bikes. She is super friendly, kind, caring, efficient and speaks excellent English which helped us so much! The whole staff was very friendly and helped look after all our needs! We would highly recommend this beautiful, clean, well-designed high-end hotell for the value, incredible service and mostly the delightful staff working here! We would love to stay again if our travels bring us to Yangshuo! Thank you so much from 2 happy Canadians! ,😁🇨🇦

The hotel is exceptional. An amazing location with facilities excellent condition. The dining was very high quality and good value for money. The staff were extremely professional, helpful and friendly.

The setting is perfect, overlooking the river and nestled below karst mountains. Walking and riding bikes along the river straight from the hotel parking lot was a bonus. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It felt so homey and comfortable - we loved it. We appreciated the ecological mindset and practices. The fire in the lounge was a blessing after a night out at Impressions LiuSanJie!

The staff is amazing, friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is beautiful, the beds confortable and rooms have both A/C and ceiling fan. Many food options available, and two bottles of water every day in the room. Bike included too!
Note that the hotel is not in Yangshuo West Street with means a bit more Didi/private car expenses, especially since this is a mountain area. However I came to Yangshuo for the nature so I was happy with this choice not to be in the city!
