We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights , second floor for the first night, third floor on the second and the top floor for the last two nights. Love them all especially the second floor with the bathtub. Staff quality is perfect always. Ours heartiest thanks to Ya Wen, Cindy and Kevin who took good care of us. Will definitely return one fine day

We were initially surprised that it was not too close to the city, but we actually loved the location and felt immersed in nature with this spectacular view of the mountains. Being in the city would not have been the same. I am still dreaming about the view and the nearby village!
The staff was so helpful and welcoming! Our host was fluent in English which made our trip arrangement easier.
The food was really nice for the price! We will definitely be back!

We really liked the Bamboo Leaf Hotel and the staff, especially Vivianne who helped us with booking tours and borrowing scooters and bikes. She is super friendly, kind, caring, efficient and speaks excellent English which helped us so much! The whole staff was very friendly and helped look after all our needs! We would highly recommend this beautiful, clean, well-designed high-end hotell for the value, incredible service and mostly the delightful staff working here! The staff was exceptionally friendly and forthcoming. Especially Flona and team. The views from the rooms facing the river are absolutely stunning. The Hotel is not close to the center but there is a free shuttle service provided by the hotel and DiDis (Chinese Uber) are very affordable and readily available.

Moon Hill
The main attraction in the area is Moon Hill, a 230-metre-high crag with a perfect moon-shaped hole in it. From nearby Licun Village you can walk the ‘moon appreciation path’, during which the moon-hole will wax and wane for your viewing pleasure. 800 marble steps lead you up to the hole and on to the summit, with spectacular views.

Exceptional and perhaps the best position on the river. Resort-style but small and so more intimate (and for us, more enjoyable). Great staff. Patient and professional. Good location for Riyu, Moon Hill, river walk, bridges, etc. Can literally walk out along the river, across fields... Family rooms spacious, good views. Fantastic garden with tables and loungers for breakfast and dinner (lunch if you stay) with space for everyone.
Charming facilities at a beautiful location, nicely renovated and with a view on Moon hill. Extremely friendly and kind personnel, especially Gloria and Rita provided a lot of practical support in organizing local trips and ensuring a wonderful stay. The hotel has an excellent restaurant, serving Chinese and Italian food. They offer different breakfast options, all very good.
A quaint, ancient style villa (a few houses connected together) run by the sisters. Right next to a gorgeous mountain, We stayed in their 3-beds room that could fit 6 people. Value for money. The sisters were hospitable and welcoming. Breakfast was local food (guilin noodles, yau char kwai, porridge). While the location is further from town, it was nearer to tourist attractions such as bamboo rafting, moon hill, cable car.
The location and service is great. Located across Moon Hill which is walking distance and also very close to scooters hire location.
Good restaurant located next to hotel
My partner and I spent a couple of days in Yangshou Village Inn. Everything was lovely. The room was spacious with a beautiful view on moon hill and the bathroom had warm water. We truly appreciated the staff, everyone was kind and ready to help with suggestions. They booked us some activities in Yangshou and the taxi to Guilin airport for a very convenient price. They've also cooked the traditional beer carpa fish that was delicious.
We definitely recommend this place.
Traditional Chinese building in beautiful location just opposite moon hill, quiet and clean. Extremely helpful and kind staff. Excellent restaurant with a variety of food, western style and Chinese.
