Mark, the owner, was exceptionally warm and helpful. His personalized approach and detailed local recommendations truly enhanced our experience, making us feel welcomed and well-cared for.
The traditional courtyard design was unique and provided a serene and cozy environment. It offered a real sense of staying in an authentic part of Beijing, blending history with comfort.
The hotel’s central location in a historic hutong meant we were close to major attractions and surrounded by the vibrant local culture. It was the perfect base for sightseeing and exploring local shops and eateries.
Despite their compact size, the rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities.

The Staff!! So helpful and kind. I don’t speak Chinese so all communication was done through a translator, and the device they have on reception is far better than google translate!
Their patience in talking to me like this was great and made the check in so comfortable.
The room was comfy, quiet and dark everything i needed after a night flight. Soft drinks and water are complementary along with tea and coffee which when asked the maid didn’t hessite to assist in my caffeine needs and supply me with more coffee😊 the local metro station is an 8/10 minute walk and it is on line 2 which is very convenient to get to the attractions.
When i checked out early (no fault of the hotel, just a change to my plans). Again the staff were so helpful in assisting me and they straight away gave me a refund for the 2 nights, which was unexpected, but much appreciated!!!
I will happily stay here again next time
