The hotel is very good value for money. Very clean, big rooms. At check in they accept western credit cards (Mastercard, Visa). At least one member of staff we spoke to spoke English, other used translator on the phone to communicate which works very well, so check-in and out was smooth.
10 mins from metro Daixin (in Chinese 大新). This is the closest metro station. It is Green Line (Line 1), second stop after changing from line 11, which goes from the airport. It makes the location super convenient to visit the city. Total time from the airport to the hotel by metro took us under 45 min, ticket price 5 Yen per trip. You can exchange money to get cash at the airport. A lot of food options around: both street food and restaurants.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was perfect – tucked away in a quiet alley but also just a short walk from the subway station. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shenzhen.

This was our second stay at the Hilton Shenzhen. Travelling with our 11 month old daughter, the room (Nanhai Seaside Suite - room 8035) was fantastic, with lots of space and great views over the Yacht club / Shenzhen Marina and the seafront. The room was very spacious and clean, with two balconies to enjoy the sunrise after an early morning wakeup from the little one! The staff were incredible during our stay, everyone was very friendly and welcoming, especially during the carnage of feeding a toddler during breakfast time. The food choice during breakfast was great, with a good selection of both western and Chinese offerings.
The overall facilities were really relaxing, with a short walk (5mins) to the seafront path, which leads down to Seaworld (10mins walk from the lobby) and all of the restaurants etc. With family living in Shenzhen, location and comfort for our daughter was top priority, and the Hilton did not disappoint, which is why we chose to return again this time.
We stayed for 5 nights and had an excellent stay, highly recommended, and we will definitely be returning again soon
