This was by far our favourite hotel in China! Located only a short walk away from the Forbidden City, there was plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. The staff at this property went above and beyond during our stay. Every staff member was extremely welcoming and made sure we were comfortable and well-fed. The tea room facilities were amazing, and the hotel breakfast was always delicious with lots of variety. The rooms themselves were extremely modern, with great bathrooms and a built in projector for entertainment. Would 100% stay again!

The hotel is located in a hutong, making it ideal for friends who want to experience the local life of old Beijing. It is close to Yonghegong and Guijie, so there are plenty of traditional food options nearby, though the area can get quite crowded, which might disappoint those who prefer peace and quiet. The staff is very warm and friendly. Since we stayed for several nights, they thoughtfully arranged for local snacks to replace the standard breakfast, which left a great impression. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk to the subway station, and taxis are convenient, though traffic on Yonghegong Street can be heavy, so some patience is required. This is a highly recommended place to stay, and I hope the facilities, cleanliness, and service standards continue to remain excellent. We would definitely return if given the chance!
