- The staff was great! Made the most to make us feel like home (which is also the motto of the place, as we understood :) ), and gave us recommendations and guidance how to spend our time in the area
- The dinner at the hotel restaurant was great and very well priced for the location. the chef accommodated my dietary requirements (transformed the 4-course meal into a vegetarian one), which was super tasty and featured cuisine from that and nearing areas. Would recommend to book!

We really loved staying at this traditional looking, but very modern hotel.
The room and bed were so comfortable and the views from the balcony fantastic.
Breakfast was a generous buffet in addition to a choice from a cooked menu. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful.
We were fortunate to have great weather during our visit and were able to enjoy an aperitif and evening meals on the sunny terrace. Again, we found the waiting staff very friendly and helpful.
There was a lovely little lounge with honesty bar as well as a manned bar by the restaurant.
The location is also fabulous - five minutes walk to the railway station and two minutes walk to the cable car. Both giving access to great hikes.
We are looking forward to returning!

The views of the mountain from the hotel and the village itself is awesome. A small department store is within walking distance. Cable cars going to Schilthorn is also nearby.
We had a junior suite, it was spacious and had good facilities. The balcony is shared by all the rooms. We had the view of the town on one side and of the mountains from another.
We had dinner at the restaurant, there were many vegetarian options and the food was good.
Situated in Mürren, Hotel Restaurant Sonnenberg has a garden, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property.

Perfect Location.
Perfect Location. Near to the train station, cable car and restaurants. Rooms are very nostalgic and view view are incredible. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Food in the in house restaurant is also great.

Amazingly picturesque area, probably one of the most beautiful valleys on the planet. When there has been some decent rain in the area the Staubbach Falls are truly magnificent along with many other waterfalls in the Lauterbrunnen valley. You can walk up to and just about under the falls. The climb is not too exerting and can be managed easily. Keep watch for base jumpers as the area is famous for this sport. Recommend a visit to this area, you will not be disappointed.

Hotel Staubbach has magnificent views of Staubbach falls and the room was exceptionally clean.
Tristan, Nathalia, Maria, Adam and breakfast staff were all very friendly and welcoming people.

Excellent location, just 5 mins from the train and the cable car stations. A big room with a balcony and a view of the Staubbach Falls. The room is clean with very comfy beds. In the building of our room (they have two buildings), there is a lift going up to upper floors.
Our hotel room offers a really good view of Staubbach falls - the very reason why we chose this hotel! We enjoyed the breakfast spread and coffee/tea were available for hotel guests in the day. Staff were helpful and friendly!

It's by far the best hotel I've stayed at. The room (Valley 100 room) was extremely spacious. There was even a bathtub. But what I loved most was the view from the room (and the additional windows on the ceiling). The balcony faces Staubbach falls, and being on the 4th floor was amazing. The hotel interior is also mainly wood, so the scent of wood was blissful and calming. On a non cloudy night, u can even see stars.
The location was central, within walking distance to the train station and Staubbach falls. Bus service to Trummelbach falls and Stechelberg - if you want to visit Schilthorn. Free parking (in a metered parking space next to the hotel) was an advantage as we travelled by car.
Everything was good. Host was helpful. Breakfast was good. Rooms were comfortable. We got a room with direct view of the Staubbach Falls. Host was even kind enough to provide free parking behind the hotel. Highly recommended.
