We chose this hotel to experience a traditional Swiss hotel,to be away from the hustle and bustle of Luzern but to be able to visit the city daily. Downstairs,the hotel retains the wood panelling and decor typical of an alpine hotel.Upstairs, the bedrooms are modern and well appointed but still have unique wood features, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. There are several buses to the centre of Luzern from just outside the hotel and the journey takes 11 minutes. The 73 post bus was very reliable, clean and a smooth trip.

The location was excellent for my Lucerne sightseeing trip. I could walk from the Lucerne train station, and a bus stop was nearby. Breakfast was great with variety (for European breakfast). It was a nice way to start the day. The room was compact, clean, and functional. Since the hotels in Lucerne are expensive, this hotel provides a good value for money.
Staff was great! They answered all our questions. Provided a European adapter as we forgot to bring one. Breakfast was excellent. About a 10 minute walk to the Lucerne train station. And close to lots of restaurants and shopping.
Room is decent, location at this new town is good. It's three stops from Lucerne train station by bus. We took bus because luggage otherwise we walked most of time. It's 10 to 15 minutes walking distance to new/old towns, river, and lake.
Great location right at the lake. I traveled from the Lucerne train station to the hotel by bus, and it was very easy. The building is vintage, but the room was very clean. Its restaurant has a fantastic view, and the old elevator was fun to ride (although small space). Overall, it's worth its price.
Very close to Lucerne train station. Walking distance to all the sights and attractions. The apartment is so spacious and we are only 3 traveling so we had a lot of space. Easy to collect the keys from the lock box. The instructions are straight-forward. The flat has everything you need - fridge, cooker, washing machine, dryer. It will be perfect for those who are staying longer.
Easy to get keys . Vitaly the property manager called me and arranged to meet us at the building entrance. Then he showed us the room and explained everything. He was polite and helpful.

This hotel is within walking distance of the Lucerne train station. It is on the riverbank and there is a lot of restaurants nearby. The view from the room is quite nice: We can see the iconic covered bridge, the lake, and the mountains. The hotel staff were friendly. The receptionist who checked us in led us all the way through several stairways up to our room.
