I'm a little embarrassed….hotel is very nice, in a good location - not at a centre of village which is totally overcrowded by groups of tourists, but just 10 minutes walk to the village (railway station), bus stop to the village in front of a hotel), bus every 30 minutes. Hotel and room was clean, very good breakfast with a plenty choice of very tasty meal (especially different konds of salate, cheese, fruits, tea), nice sauna, advantage is a coffee machine and kettler with coffee and tea at a room, balcony with a mountain view was amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff

Very beautiful and authentic Swiss hotel situated in very nice sorroundings. We can highly recommend this hotel. Moreover, the staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We brought our (very big) dog who was welcomed and had a great time in the Swiss alps.

The hotel location is very nice, just right beside Grindelwald Bahnof and the breakfast is delicious! But have one day housekeeper forgot to provide towel after clean up the room.
Everything! It’s centrally located, just 10 mins from the train station. The views from the hotel were unbeatable. But what we loved the most was the food — not just at the breakfast buffet, but the restaurant as well. It was outstanding! We are fairly everywhere in Grindelwald, but the freshness, quality and taste of the food was just terrific.
This hotel is perfectly located for quick visits to Grindelwald, as it is literally opposite the train platforms that take you in from Interlaken (and that get you to the top of the mountains, too). The location is stunning, and you are 5 minutes away from shops and coop supermarkets to buy food and/or clothing.
Staff was attentive, room was ample and spotless, even with a cute balcony that had amazing views. Temperature ran a bit too hot but not a problem, you can open the window yourself to regulate if need be.
Nice apartment for our family trip to Grindelwald. Amazing view of Eiger when the clouds cleared, bus stop right out front and walking distance, although hilly to the train station.
I really love the location and the views. It's quite easy to take a bus or train to viewpoints even if the hotel is located not in the center of the Grindelwald. There are not many choices for breakfast, but still, all food was tasty and fresh. And I like coffee.
I booked the biggest apartment for 7 people, but it was just four of us, so that's why the price was quite expensive 😅 but I'm sure room for only 2 people will be totally worth its price!

The hotel is conveniently located near the Grindelwald First station and is in the heart of the main street in the village. The staff were helpful and friendly, and always ready with a smile, especially those working at the reception. There's freshly made smoothies for breakfast in the morning which they will give personally, which I thought was a lovely touch. My room faces the carpark which was good, it was nice and quiet. Overall, a lovely stay in Grindelwald.

It is a unique hotel located right next to the Gondola station to Grindelwald First. It has traditional Switzerland style interriors. The room was large and clean. Also the breakfast which is included in the fee was spectacular and people were very kind. You can also have lunch and dinner at Restaurant alte post in front of the hotel at a reasonable price.
The place is a bit further away from the city center, about 15-20 mins walk from the train station. I appreciate it since that means you get to stay at the quieter side of Grindelwald.
Hotel room is a bit bare, but you have everything you need. They also have a public area where you can use common fridge and microwave.
The breakfast was a nice surprise for us, since we didn't expect the room to come with breakfast. It's basic, but it's nice -- you know how expensive the food in Switzerland is.
Amazing mountain view from the room. Hostel is very clean and washroom is very well maintained like a hotel. Both shower and toilet is right next to the room. Breakfast is also amazing with so many options. It is the best place to stay in Grindelwald on a budget.
