Upon arrival, we were greeted with that wonderful word “upgraded” - the receptionist was friendly, helpful & accommodating. The room was splendid, with a few luxury extras, like slippers & towelling robes. The shower was probably the most powerful we’ve experienced. The breakfast was varied & delicious and the hotel a 5 minute, easy walk from the old town, where a variety of restaurants offered lovely food and beverages. A highly recommended hotel - 5*

Very fresh and delicious and location is excellent
As is typical for Ibis Budget, the bathroom was split into a shower, toilet stall and sink in the room which is quire practical and time efficient. There was a also some storage available. I think the best thing about the hotel is the conveninent location near the Basel SBB train station and between two tram stops. The breakfast is really reasonably priced, even if somewhat basic. It was relatively clean but can we please also get face towels and some place to hang them?
The hotel is conveniently located very close to the Basel SBB station and airport bus making it very easy to reach the airport for an early morning flight. Super easy check in/check out and friendly staff at reception. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. A short stay but overall very good!
Lorenda's apartment was perfect for our very short stay in Basel. It was only two tram stops from Basel SBB train station then a very short walk to the apartment. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.
The staff of the hotel was very welcoming and very helpful. The hotel premises were very clean and modern in terms of infrastructure. The bed was comfortable and I have no complaints whatsoever. The hotel's location was truly a key highlight, as it is just next to bus stops which link you to Basel SBB in 1 min and a five minutes walk behind the hotel brings you to some amazing shops and fast foods
The location is near the train, tram and bus station. The Supermarket is just 2 blocks away, very convenient for us. We like the natural light of the apartment because of the huge windows, we enjoy the view of an open space. The house is clean and comfortable. What we saw in the photos online is the same as what we saw in the actual space. Very accurate instructions, we did not have any problem checking-in and out, in using the appliances and in directions going to the apartment from basel sbb.
Hyperion is a modern hotel, very close to Basel city centre with excellent tram connections to the centre and the train stations (Basel SBB and Badische Bahnof). The rooms on high floors are of good size with good views. There is an opportunity to use the executive lounge which provides additional comfort. However, what makes Hyperion special is the staff at the reception desk - very professional, helpful and with great integrity (even if you forget some of your belonging). Thank you and look forward to visiting again.
Apartment was very well equipped. Bathroom had plenty of toiletries and bathrobes. Building was close walk to Basel SBB where you could get a bus to the airport. Hotel staff has our Basel cards printed and waiting in our room, which allowed discounts for some museums and attractions and free transport.
