This is an impressive building - allow plenty of time to see...
This is an impressive building - allow plenty of time to see three museum galleries and the art galleries. Also make time to eat or have a drink in the restaurant with its fantastic views. The Rooms is free to enter on Fridays 6-9pm. (this might be summer period only) Also there is Shakespeare production in the summer which you need to buy a ticket for.

There is great attention to detail with the cleanliness of the rooms. The housekeeping team are exceptional, always offering a warm hello and making you feel welcome. The beds are very comfortable and I like that the showers are well equipped with re-fillable bottles (I personally prefer this in hotels over the mini bottles, well done for having this environmentally conscious option).

The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff are exceptional. John at the front desk called our room after we checked in to see if everything was ok and did we need anything . WOW!! That’s is amazing, we have never experienced that before and we have stayed at a LOT of hotels. This is the best EVER. They take care of the things that matter 🥰
This is a great hotel in St. John's. The location is excellent, parking is easy. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and the rooms are modern and clean.
The rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Two restaurants being attached to the hotel was very convenient. 24 hour staff was also helpful for an early check out.
We enjoyed this accommodation very much. It's nicer than just a hotel room. To stay in a historic home and share a breakfast area daily with other guests, it was enjoyable and pleasant. The staff treated us very well. The rooms all have a different decor and the common areas are full of charm.
This gem of a hotel was perfectly located about a 3 min walk to George's ST and the downtown core. The rooms were well appointed and the beds were super comfy. It was quiet and perfect place for a stay in St. John's
Easy to find the check in desk, signage was excellent. The staff was welcoming and efficient. Pleasantly surprised how comfortable the bed was. The rooms were and bathroom were exceptionally clean. We even got toiletries as in a real hotel room.
Continental breakfast had better spread than some we had at other hotels/inns on this trip.
I like the location of the hotel, the rooms are nice size, clean, comfortable beds, nice and clean bathroom. The rooms are equipped with a small fridge, a microwave, coffee machine . The hotel is very close to the famous Water and Gorge Street and we would walk in the evening to the pubs.
The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, well equipped, everything in working order, tea and coffee machine, very clean.
This could be a fabulous hotel, the grand entrance, chandeliers, solid brass railings, comfortable entrance lounge ….. BUT….see next question.
