Fantastic hotel. Clearly the best during our road trip to Canada and the PNW. From our arrival to our departure everything was perfect. We had a very spacious corner room that was beautifully appointed and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. The restaurant, The Courtney Room was outstanding for breakfast and we were fortunate enough to enjoy the tasting menu with pairing wines at dinner which was incredible. By far the best meal on our trip. Location was ideal.
The hotel was recommended by friends in Australia and we are so grateful they did. First class!

The room was a King suite with a very comfy King bed with crisp fresh linens. There were 2 easy opening windows for fresh air, or air conditioning. The room was very large with a kitchen suite, numerous chairs, and plenty of space to set up our 2 suitcases on their own luggage stand. Non carpeted floors made for a confident feeling of cleanliness! The bathroom was clean and water pressure in the shower amazing! The room decor was very tasteful and soothing but still modern and not 'stuffy'. The need for an elevator has been accommodated for by an exterior ramp that went from ground level parking at the back of the hotel up 1 floor to check-in, then 1 more easy climb to our 2nd floor room. Access from the exterior ramp to our room and hallway was by very efficient and smoothly operating electronic key card system. The hotel location is very conveniently just a few walkable blocks from the main entertainment and restaurant city centre that has a pleasing mix of historical and modern architecture and attractions.

first off we loved the location. we loved many things about the stay. the staff were very nice , the lobby is beautiful. the room smelled so clean and fresh when we arrived. we used the pool, it was great. the hot tub was incredibly hot, a bit too much. restaurant was yummy and very nice.

We went just before the museum started renovating the exhibits. It is interesting but we are definitely looking forward to the new and improved version, especially the Indigenous Cultures/History area.

Must see! Great section on the Indigenous people of the area and how different they are from other provinces (which we unfortunately seem to lump all together). Great insight! They have an IMax theatre there as well and we saw the Turtle 1/2 hr movie which was very interesting! We ran out of time!

The location is outstanding. It is across the street from the rear of the Royal BC Museum, one block from Parliament Building and two blocks from the harbor and the Empress Hotel. It is also half a block from Beacon Hill Park, a very extensive area with a variety of environments and including the tallest free-standing totem pole in the world. The main parts of the city were in easy walking distance.
Location is perfect right next to the Royal BC Museum. The staff at reception were very friendly and check in and out were smooth. Price was good for such a central location.
