The room was spacious, with 1 large king sized bed. A nice sitting area near the window with a large TV for viewing. Fridge, coffee maker, iron, hair dryer, all washing needs were available in the room. Since our booking, my wife has relied almost totally on a wheelchair for mobility. we were offered an accessible room upon check in. Perhaps we should have taken the offer. The room door was heavy and was heavily loaded to close briskly behind patron upon entry. It was a bit of a challenge opening door and not having it crash onto the wheelchair.
The restaurant at the hotel was actually quite good. The Sunday night dinner special of Prime Rib Roast with Yorkshire, trimmings and choice of dessert for $42 Cdn was delicious. Perhaps the hotel might consider Senior's portions as an option. We would have been satisfied sharing 1 special.
But when looking for wheelchair accessibility, this hotel proved to be outstanding.
