Smelled lovely. The breakfast was immaculate. The staff was always so nice and helpful and I appreciate that they spoke both Portuguese and English for my struggling Portuguese.

Fantastic romantic property on top of a hill with upscale amenities and great friendly service. Check-in was smooth and attentive to details (they had already asked the name of my travel companion ahead of time). The room was up some stairs (no elevator) but was magical, with big windows facing the city of Rio. The property itself is an urban oasis, with a lovely pool and top class restaurant. Breakfast was top notch also. It is a pricey property but worth it for a spurge. Nice welcome cookies, slippers, and personal photograph.
