Take a walk around the riverside, and marvel at the size of the base of the bridge. Also look for the inspirational trees growing on the cliffs of New Farm, and the cool looking cells in the cellars of the old buildings on the City river side. Or take a cheap trip on the ferries.. it's a good way to spend an hour or so.

I got to stay at a hotel right next to story bridge recently and without even knowing the bridge existed i was blown away by how magnificent it looks especially by night. The city of Brisbane has out done itself by its choice to light up the night skies with this pimped out bridge. Almost looks like another city altogether when you compare night and day views.

The view is amazing. On one side you can see the Story Bridge. At night it’s lit up with lights of different colors. On the other side is the Brisbane River.
Great location and facilities. Big kitchen and everything felt really clean. Housekeeping called to the room everyday. Really close to fortitude valley train station and short walk to Story Bridge & Felon's bar. Beds were a little loud and soft for my liking but overall good experience and would stay again.
Terrific view of the river, Story bridge, and Brisbane residential areas for the high floors! Large room and comfortable bed. The staff were wonderful and extremely friendly.
Hotel is very well located - stones through from Story Bridge Hotel, 10 min walk from City Hopper and has a decent view of the river (and Fireworks)
Air con worked well and the kitchen was sufficient for 4 Adults (and Baby).
Wifi worked well, so we could stream off our Computers.
Stayed one night due to airline schedules. The hotel met our expectations. It was not luxurious but our room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of Story Bridge. Staff was helpful and attentive. Secure luggage storage and we were able to use the showers in the fitness center after check out prior to a late evening flight. Good location for the CBD and City Botanic gardens.
Great location. Unfortunately the view of the story bridge has been largely obscured by a new building but the rest of the river view is great. The gym is good.
