I’ve stayed at the Calile multiple times and during my most recent stay we had a few hiccups that the general manager and guest relations manager promptly resolved for us. They were super lovely and helpful. I’d now highly recommend this hotel to others, it is a beautiful venue and has helpful management that are keen to make your stay a good experience.

The hotel features an amazing pool with stunning city and river views. It is located near the train station and within walking distance of a local restaurant strip and lagoon. McDonald's, Woolworths, and a chemist are next to the hotel. The staff were very friendly, and the concierge provided helpful information about the local area. Take a walk around the riverside, and marvel at the size of the base of the bridge. Also look for the inspirational trees growing on the cliffs of New Farm, and the cool looking cells in the cellars of the old buildings on the City river side. Or take a cheap trip on the ferries.. it's a good way to spend an hour or so.

I got to stay at a hotel right next to story bridge recently...
I got to stay at a hotel right next to story bridge recently and without even knowing the bridge existed i was blown away by how magnificent it looks especially by night. The city of Brisbane has out done itself by its choice to light up the night skies with this pimped out bridge. Almost looks like another city altogether when you compare night and day views.

The hotel is clean, spacious, and well-located—though it’s a bit far from South Bank, it’s conveniently close to the Story Bridge. Breakfast is served à la carte, and while it was included for the two rooms we booked (each accommodating 2 adults and 1 child), we were informed at the table that breakfast was not included for the children (both under 12). This was a bit disappointing given the room rates. Overall, it’s a fairly good choice, but you can find better value for your money at other hotels in the same area.
The rooms are spacious and so is the bathroom

Right next to the Story Bridge hotel whete we attended a function on the Saturday night and breakfast on the Sunday...so easy. It was great. Chris at reception was lovely.
Fantastic location with terrific views of the river and story bridge. Bed and pillows were bliss. A room upgrade, valet parking and breakfast included in the price made it really good value.
Fantastic location - could walk everywhere we wanted to in the city. The buffet breakfast was delicious and plenty of variety. View from room was awesome looking over the river and story bridge.
Our 'usual accommodation' when we come down to Brisbane for the cricket - lovely walk to & from te Gabba. Great facilities (the pool is superb) & love all the open space around the apartments, many great eateries only a few minutes away - highly recommend Fusion & Dumplings & the Bomb Shelter Story Bridge Hotel. Apart from the dreadful weather, another great stay. And love the great cartoons in the lifts - fun way to start the day.
Stunning views of Brisbane River and Story Bridge from every room (except bathrooms, of course). Beautiful, spacious, comfortable apartment with everything provided in generous amounts, including toiletries and washing powder, plus extra bath towels and pool towels. Very well equipped kitchen, with large fridge, extra tea towels, coffee machine and beans, and a lovely selection of tea bags. We loved the addition of the beautifully decorated Christmas tree and nativity set. Thank you!
