Ruby's Cottage Farm Stay, hotel in Port Arthur

Located in Port Arthur and only 4.2 km from Port Arthur, Ruby's Cottage Farm Stay provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Our stay at Ruby's Cottage was perfect. We loved the real fireplace & the many different farm animals. The view is exceptional & looks out to Isle Of The Dead. We got to meet all the friendly cows & give them a brush. The hosts were nice to come & notify us that the Aurora Australia was happening if we wanted to view it & take photos. I'm so thankful they did because this was on my bucket list to see & I wouldn't have known without them coming to get us. There is complementary breakfast staples provided which is really good. There is even a supply of kids toys & books which was perfect for our little girl. Would totally stay here again.

Storm Bay B&B, hotel in Port Arthur

Offering lovely views of Parson’s bay, Storm Bay B&B is just 600 metres from the shores of White Beach. It offers cosy accommodation with free parking on site and free Wi-Fi access in public areas.

I don't even know where to begin, David and Sylvia are by far the friendliest and hospitable hosts Iv ever had the pleasure of staying with. Their home is nothing short of adorable with a view that will leave you breathless. The rooms had everything you needed and made you feel right at home. David has a wealth of local knowledge that he was very kind to share with us and Sylvia treating me to an amazing breakfast with fresh home baked bread and home made jams was just perfect!

I spent one and a half days at the site - your ticket gives you entry for 2 days. Some of the burnt out buildings should have representations of the living conditions, similar to Freemantle prison. More social histories of the convicts. The site is beautiful and needs the dark/ugly side to be presented.

Cant recommend this place highly enough, my husband and i enjoyed the tours we did. The cafe is lovely, nice coffee and lovely food. Liked the gift shop too. Great for families or couples. Just a shame i could not do the Isle of the Dead Tour, as was undergoing renos. Comfortable shoes are a must as is warm clothing.

    WOW!!!

WOW!!! What an amazing place to visit, Great for young an old. So much history that isn’t taught in any school I’ve ever attended. We spent two days here and it still didn’t feel like enough. Loved it and couldn’t recommend a better place to visit.

Great location to reach Port Arthur Historic site. We were upgraded to a one bedroom unit, which was fully self contained; bed was comfortable. Nice to be able to eat in at the historic hotel’s dining room. Meals were slow, but very nice; worth the wait.
