I spent one and a half days at the site - your ticket gives you entry for 2 days.
Some of the burnt out buildings should have representations of the living conditions, similar to Freemantle prison.
More social histories of the convicts.
The site is beautiful and needs the dark/ugly side to be presented.

Cant recommend this place highly enough, my husband and i enjoyed the tours we did. The cafe is lovely, nice coffee and lovely food. Liked the gift shop too. Great for families or couples. Just a shame i could not do the Isle of the Dead Tour, as was undergoing renos. Comfortable shoes are a must as is warm clothing.

WOW!!!
WOW!!! What an amazing place to visit, Great for young an old. So much history that isn’t taught in any school I’ve ever attended.
We spent two days here and it still didn’t feel like enough.
Loved it and couldn’t recommend a better place to visit.

Great location only 400 meters from a few shops and 1km from Port Arthur historic site.
Full facilities for cooking and washing and drying clothes.
Beds comfortable.
Lovely location close to the Port Arthur Historic Site & Remarkable Cave. There is a small supermarket closeby. The facilities in the cabin were very clean and had everything we needed. There is a nice short walk down to the beach from the campsite.
The park was a short drive from the Port Arthur historic site, so it was the perfect place to stay after a visit there. The room was not very big, but still very cosy with lovely furniture and a small kitchenette.
Lovely breakfast provided. Great location to Port Arthur Historic site. Our host Viv left suggestions and we discovered a great location not mentioned anywhere else.
Close to Port Arthur historic site so it makes it easy to get to. Room was just what we needed for just 1 night stay. Food at Bar was good. I thought it was a old Hotel but they told me it was build in the 70's.
Great location to reach Port Arthur Historic site. We were upgraded to a one bedroom unit, which was fully self contained; bed was comfortable. Nice to be able to eat in at the historic hotel’s dining room. Meals were slow, but very nice; worth the wait.
Stayed here for one night just to start the Three Capes track the next day. Really very clean, lovely staff, good beds.
The meals in the restaurant are huge. Hotel has a bit of old charme but like I said all very clean.
Even had acccess to the Port Arthur Historic Site with my room key.
