We went in Nov - the Christmas Lights in the gardens at this time were spectacular? Well worht a night visit and if you buy a day pass you get a decent discount off the Christmas lights night tickets too. Staff are terrific and very helpful & friendly. All in all a worthwhile visit

The villa is really clean and comfortable and very well equipped. The generous supply of breakfast items plus wine and cheese was much appreciated. The location is fabulous, being so close to the Hunter Valley Gardens. The BBQ and pool area are excellent. Communication with our host was efficient and seamless.
The apartment was nice: large, clean, everything worked,. The location is in the centre of Pokolbin so it's within walking distance of a couple of wineries, the cheese factory, a few distilleries, the Hunter Valley Gardens and the Irish Pub, so there's no need for a designated driver, and everyone can join in the tasting fun. To compensate, it's a nice 2.5hr hike up from Tinklers wines at Pokolbin Mountains Rd to Mount Bright Lookout (watch out for snakes in the horse paddock).
Gas fireplace was super picturesque and cozy. The decor was also all new, modern and cozy. The one bedroom apartment was a great size for me and my husband and 2 kids, with the sofa bed in the lounge room and spacious balcony. Great central location to the Hunter Valley Gardens, Enzo cafe and good restaurants.
We usually stay here as we often head up to the Hunter Valley to attend an event at the Hunter Valley Gardens. This hotel is within walking distance (although we usually drive there). It has an amazing pool that my kids adore, as well as a play area and lots of space on the property where the wildlife will come up to your room. We had ducks last visit and kangaroos the one before that. The rooms themselves have all we need and are comfortable but they could probably do with a freshen up.
Excellent, relaxing location, convenient to Hunter Valley Gardens and Hanrahans Hotel, but very quiet and secluded.
Well laid out and maintained large room with a pleasant patio for breakfast. Room was spotless
