The excellent restoration of this magnificent Victorian building shows how clever and considerate are the owners. They have incorporated luxury comfort without losing the features of the building, and the modern extension to the property blends seamlessly. Throughout the place are cosy reading nooks and a marvellous and eclectic selection of fabulous books, art and memorabilia, placed always to enhance the sense of design. The owners are warm and friendly and add to the overall sense of welcome and serenity. The weekend continental breakfast was excellent. Overall we felt a sense of calm in this lovely place.

The location was perfect for us. We went to the Art Museum which was only a short walk away. We found a great little bar serving ice cold beers and the bartender suggested the new Vietnamese restaurant for dinner, which was delicious.

The location is excellent, central, close to the Ballarat Art Gallery, and a short walk from Ballarat train station. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and I definitely recommend it. The Wi-Fi was very good and reliable. All in all, I had a very comfortable stay.
Location! My trip was about getting into Melbourne daily without taking the car and the location of the apartments is perfect for that - literally a minute's walk from the Ballarat train station. The host's communication was excellent too -they checked in with me a couple of times during my stay to ensure things were going well.
