We have always loved Ballarat for the history and the buildings. My family members live in Melbourne and we live in Adelaide and take many trips a year to see each other. We will always stay at Craig,s from now on. Craig,s has now become our meeting place for every trip. We must say that your staff are extra friendly and so polite. Jackie was so helpful to us and nothing we asked of was to much trouble. We will be back OFTEN.
Kind Regards Sharronne and Pete.

The city has beautiful old style building showing off the opulence of a rich gold mining location. Lots of parks to keep kids entertained as well as the more specific tourist attractions. Lots of places to eat out. Easy to find you way around. A few places have paid parking but lots of free parking as well.

I love the pride people take in their homes and gardens it's very appealing. The dedication to the arts is exciting regarding festivals. Tremendous focus on cuisine which is satisfying along with quaint activities to do with either families or couple's throughout the day and night.

Ballarat is a beautiful town, they still have some beautiful buildings in use that were built in the 1850's when the gold rush hit.
Plenty of places to eat at.
Great for tourist from Melbourne, Australia and overseas.
Main attraction would be Sovereign Hill which is a village that has been set up as it would of been back in the 1850's so much to do and see there.
I personally would highly recommend a visit to the Ballarat Wildlife Park and having an animal encounter, or even just to wander around for a few hours... remember to buy a couple of bags of food to feed the kangaroos.

This is the only place I stay at in Ballarat. The rooms are clean, it's in a great location, it's cheap as chips, it's a no-fuss set-up to check yourself in and out. Love it. Actually moving here for work for the next 3 years but will be recommending this place to anyone visiting. They've even got much better pillows from the last time I stayed here which was literally my only complaint.
Absolutely spotless ! in a very quiet location , very well-maintained and eye appealing when you arrive over all just like a tiny home away from home .
Your host is very welcoming and helpful.
We would definitely recommend this stay for all couples wanting something different from the normal boring hotel .
Thank you very much for advertising this little beauty in the heart of Ballarat.
