The Provincial Boutique Hotel, hotel in Ballarat

Located within a beautiful heritage listed building, just steps from Ballarat train station, the property provides rooms with cable TV, free WiFi and heating. Free parking is available on site.

Close to city centre and train station. I stayed in the cheapest room available, and it was sufficient for one person but might have been a squeeze if I brought someone. The boutique styling was cute, bed comfy and overall clean and quiet.

Oscars Hotel and Cafe Bar, hotel in Ballarat

Oscars Hotel is a unique boutique accommodation boasting art décor, located in the heart of Ballarat. It offers a restaurant, free Wi-Fi throughout and a garden.

Staff were lovely on check in. It’s basic pub accommodation - decent sized room, comfortable bathroom, private car parking. There’s some noise at night if there’s a function downstairs but it really didn’t bother us much. Location is excellent!

I love the pride people take in their homes and gardens it's very appealing. The dedication to the arts is exciting regarding festivals. Tremendous focus on cuisine which is satisfying along with quaint activities to do with either families or couple's throughout the day and night.

Ballarat is a beautiful town, they still have some beautiful buildings in use that were built in the 1850's when the gold rush hit. Plenty of places to eat at. Great for tourist from Melbourne, Australia and overseas. Main attraction would be Sovereign Hill which is a village that has been set up as it would of been back in the 1850's so much to do and see there. I personally would highly recommend a visit to the Ballarat Wildlife Park and having an animal encounter, or even just to wander around for a few hours... remember to buy a couple of bags of food to feed the kangaroos.

Just went to Art Gallery. Lovely people.

Just went to Art Gallery. Lovely people. On our way home from Horsham had to call in to Ballarat in an emergency situation as my traveling companion was having a mini stroke. Went to Information Centre and asked them to call an ambulance. The staff were lovely, helpful and caring. The ambulance paramedics were also amazing and my friend was assessed at the Information Centre and advised to stay o/n in Ballarat as a precaution. (Near an acute hospital.) So grateful.

Absolutely spotless ! in a very quiet location , very well-maintained and eye appealing when you arrive over all just like a tiny home away from home . Your host is very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend this stay for all couples wanting something different from the normal boring hotel . Thank you very much for advertising this little beauty in the heart of Ballarat.

Cheap, only $107, we wanted to stay in Warrnambool after driving the Great Ocean Rd, Ballarat was the next day destination but Warrnambool was too expensive almost $200 so we decided to just drive to Ballarat instead of next day

It was a great location that was on a quiet street but not too far from the CBD. Cute and cosy with decent amenities and good amount of information on Ballarat House was clean and nicely presented.
