The location is perfect, close to the bus stop. If you are taking the train, you will be taking a ferry which stops on the other side of the village probably 7-8 mins walk, a nice walk as you will be passing through the market square and wander down the beautiful street with the view of the houses. The room itself was well prepared, clean and tidy and just as you walk in, you can already appreciate the magnificent view of the lake and the mountain. The shower and toilet is separate. A bottle of water is provided but you can also safely drink from the tap. There is a coffee machine (Nespresso) which has several coffee pods. The bed was comfortable, neatly set up and sheets are all clean. The food is a tray full of a wide array of continental breakfast which they will serve at your room between 815am to 10am. You can then enjoy breakfast with the beautiful view. They gave me a slice of almond cake for me birthday which was really nice of them. 😊 Overall, my stay was fantastic and would have wanted to extend. I left my heart in Hallstatt so will be back and would love to stay in Polreich again. ☺️

The lady owner was very friendly. The breakfast was good. The room has a big toilet attached. It’s in a very good location - quiet at night and not in the busy area, but within short walking distance to the tourist spot.

We knew Hallstatt and wanted you to return to paradise. The hotel is the best located in terms of its position and we’d seen it and to book the top room with the large balcony. We did it and it was wonderful.

The staff is very hospitable and explains the travel information thoroughly. Buffet breakfast costs an additional 15 euros per person per day. It is very close to the bus stop and the Salzwelten Hallstatt and offers beautiful mountain views.
- The location of the property is great. It’s only a few meters in from where the bus stop is.
- The hotel is just few meters away from the Hallstatt funicular which takes to a viewing platform and Salzwelten Hallstatt above.
- The room was decent, had balcony with views of the mountains.
We had a lovely view on the mountains and Salzberg funicular. The pension was located close to the supermarket, bus stop and the town center. We were given small discount vouchers for the Salzwelten Hallstatt tour.
