All of the staff was very professional and friendly.
The size of the room was ok, the (double) bed was big enough and the mattress was very comfortable.
We enjoyed the buffet at the restaurant (with discount which was given through a voucher at the reception), the food was delicious and abundant. Also the breakfast buffet was very good.
There was a nice swimming pool with lots of space.
The location is not bad: although the hotel is not very close to the city center, it's located on the main road that leads to the National Park. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel which makes it easy to reach the National Park, the airport and the city center.
If you arrive by car, there is enough space at the private parking.
The hotel organizes entertainment for children and adults during the day and also in the restaurant during dinner.

I went for a conference which was on another hotel by the side of Dom Pedro I Palace. For the purpose of sleeping and having breakfast and spending most of the day outside of the hotel it served its purpose. The staff was also super helpful and allowed us to use the pool after checkout, since we had a late flight.
