Even if you don't plan to go shopping, visiting Dubai Mall is a must. I've never seen any mall like this one. It's like a city inside the city, so, even taking a stroll here is already a nice experience!

Go for the best burj Khalifa views when u go through the mall towards the fountains.
Also the restaurants dining in have the best burj background for photos and videos, especially the fountain show in the evenings!

Getting there by taxi is the cheapest.
Getting there by taxi is the cheapest. But I found it very difficult to get a taxi on the streets. You install Careem or Uber and both have hidden charges which you will only realise when you check your credit card bill. On the way back from the Dubai mall, the taxi and limousines are available but these drivers are racist. If you're White, you are privileged to take the first ride, if not you have to wait till one desperate fellow take you on one.
Shame. Limousine ride from Dubai mall to Downtown costs 80 dirhams on a limousine. Taxi from Downtown to Dubai mall only costs 14.5 Dirhams. Transport by limousines are very expensive, the most I have paid when I have travelled to other countries. To me Dubai Mall is a combinations of Sunway Mall, KLCC and Midvallley Mall in KL all put together. Nothing so great about it

Its masive and exhausting, but with ice rink and massive aquarium with sharks and stingrays, you will not find find a mall like this in the world and a waterfall as well, food courts, good transport links, shop till you drop, all air conditioned, linked with sky view ,a floor with a view and slide down side of building a scary experience for some. Burj Khalifa near mall. This mall has everything and busy with people from all over the world. Never seen a mall like this ever.

Well, nothing beats Dubai Mall when it comes to grandeur.
Well, nothing beats Dubai Mall when it comes to grandeur. I love that it has a man-made waterfalls that could even rival that of Changi Airport in Singapore. They also have the ice skating rink inside the mall. And of course, the world famous Dubai Aquarium.
For me personally, my go to place at the Dubai Mall is the Kinokuniya Bookstore. I love love love love this bookstore. I wish we have similar to this in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

A true 5 star hotel. Fantastic service, great staff and exceptionally big rooms and bathrooms. I really mean it was a big hotel room and equally big bathroom. I had breakfast included in my stay and it was great.
Location of the hotel was good as well. Middle of the town and close to Dubai Mall.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, and the service was impressively fast. Plus, its walking distance to Dubai Mall makes it super convenient. A special shoutout to Nada at the reception for being amazing and extremely helpful—she truly made my stay even better!
Had a really great stay at this hotel! The place is super clean, comfortable, and in a great location—just a 5-minute drive from Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. But if you’re thinking of walking there, keep in mind that it’s not really possible due to the roads.
The best part of our stay was definitely the staff! Huge thanks to Navraj, Rey, and Shakhawat for being so friendly and helpful throughout our trip. They made us feel really welcome and taken care of.

Breakfasts also good, staff during breakfast very attentive, all of them.
Room: clean, we asked to provide us room with a balcony, but there is no available double rooms with balcony, receptionist offered us room on a first floor with balcony- like terrace. In one word- all is as it should be in 5 stars hotel.
The apartment was spacious and gad a lot of natural light and a nice view over the tennis courts. The kitchen was fairly equipped, and the furniture was in great condition. The location was very good, Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa were within walking distance, and there was a very good supermarket and pharmacy behind the building.
The hotel offers free shuttle service to and from Kite Beach and a mosque for Friday prayer.
