Even if you don't plan to go shopping, visiting Dubai Mall is a must. I've never seen any mall like this one. It's like a city inside the city, so, even taking a stroll here is already a nice experience!

Go for the best burj Khalifa views when u go through the mall towards the fountains.
Also the restaurants dining in have the best burj background for photos and videos, especially the fountain show in the evenings!

Getting there by taxi is the cheapest.
Getting there by taxi is the cheapest. But I found it very difficult to get a taxi on the streets. You install Careem or Uber and both have hidden charges which you will only realise when you check your credit card bill. On the way back from the Dubai mall, the taxi and limousines are available but these drivers are racist. If you're White, you are privileged to take the first ride, if not you have to wait till one desperate fellow take you on one.
Shame. Limousine ride from Dubai mall to Downtown costs 80 dirhams on a limousine. Taxi from Downtown to Dubai mall only costs 14.5 Dirhams. Transport by limousines are very expensive, the most I have paid when I have travelled to other countries. To me Dubai Mall is a combinations of Sunway Mall, KLCC and Midvallley Mall in KL all put together. Nothing so great about it

Its masive and exhausting, but with ice rink and massive aquarium with sharks and stingrays, you will not find find a mall like this in the world and a waterfall as well, food courts, good transport links, shop till you drop, all air conditioned, linked with sky view ,a floor with a view and slide down side of building a scary experience for some. Burj Khalifa near mall. This mall has everything and busy with people from all over the world. Never seen a mall like this ever.

Well, nothing beats Dubai Mall when it comes to grandeur.
Well, nothing beats Dubai Mall when it comes to grandeur. I love that it has a man-made waterfalls that could even rival that of Changi Airport in Singapore. They also have the ice skating rink inside the mall. And of course, the world famous Dubai Aquarium.
For me personally, my go to place at the Dubai Mall is the Kinokuniya Bookstore. I love love love love this bookstore. I wish we have similar to this in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Our stay at Burj Royale was flawless! The host went above and beyond by allowing us to check in nearly 9 hours early, which was a huge convenience. The apartment was impeccably clean, tastefully furnished, and featured a breathtaking, unobstructed full view of the Burj Khalifa. The location was unbeatable—just a 3 to 4-minute walk to Dubai Mall. Everything about our experience was exceptional.
Me and my family love the apartment so much, apartment is clean and neat, everything we need is already there and provided, which we didn’t had any hassle. Great location, very near to metro, grocery and restaurant, and you can see the Burj khalifa from P3, which also you can walk from the apartment to Dubai mall. Over all We had a great time staying in this property. Kudos aswell to Alex who assist us during our stay, he is very much more welcoming and accommodating. Definitely will book again and recommend this property.

Very good hotel, very good location, not far from metro, very good view from apartment, large rooms, very good and polite personnel, free bus to the beach and Dubai Mall.
The location…. The amenities were amazing with lot of restaurants and others. From the hotel you can walk to Dubai Mall…. I stayed there in December and the weather is good in Dubai during this time. I used to go running at the end of the day on the bay.
Food was excellent and reasonable price for lunch and dinner. Huge room, washing machine, refrigerator in the room. Preheated pool, which is excellent for kids.
Dubai Mall only 7 minutes and Burj Khalifa 15 minutes by walk from hotel. There is 24h supermarket just 100m from the hotel.
The staff was very very nice, friendly, they helped us with everything we needed. The hotel also offered us free shuttle to Dubai mall and La mer beach, which was great especially giving the fact that it would have taken us twice the time with the train. Everything was very nice, very clean, we would choose this hotel again.
The property's location is excellent with very easy access to Dubai Mall via Souk Al Bahar. The apartment offers a balcony with a great view of Burj Khalifa and partial view of Dubai Fountain.
