Host was very responsive and fresh milk was a nice touch.

Located in Waterval Onder, a few steps from Krugerhof House Museum, Wayside Lodge provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a bar. Really enjoyed our 4 night stay at Wayside Lodge, Pierre was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble - from finding the perfect room for my 85 year old mother, to organising hiking and ziplining, to cooking delicious meals for us every evening. The beds are very comfortable and showers nice and hot, gardens are beautiful and the lovely big pool is a bonus. We found a lot to do in the area and could have stayed longer. I can highly recommend spending a few days at Wayside Lodge and enjoying the surrounding area.

The host Ged is incredibly welcoming and a mine of information about the history of Africa. There is so much character to his restaurant /bar. I totally recommend as a stop of on your African adventures.
