Great place to stay if you are traveling to the Washington. There are plenty of food locations close by and getting to the metro is a breeze. They were great with my dog, providing treats and attention when we walked by the front desk. I also enjoyed that they had a full kitchen allowing me to make dinner/lunch a few times which was great way to save money.
We had a great stay. The hotel was very close to the capital and the mall. It was nice to have the Irish pub downstairs for dinner.
From the beginning of my experience, the staff greeted me and anticipated my needs. I have an injured leg and the desk staff saw this and ensured that the proper accommodations were provided. When I got to my room it was immaculate and stocked with the amenities I needed. My stay at Ivy City Hotel was great!
The buffet breakfast was a favorite of the kids, and we all enjoyed dinner at the 21st Amendment bar and grill. The location was amazing, super close to the Air and Space Museum and about a mile walk from the Washington monument along the National Mall. The staff were kind and helpful, and the beds were comfortable.
The front desk staff was very helpful and took the time to explain the area to us and give us suggestions for dinner. Arthina went out of her way!
Everything. Excellent location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Reception girls were friendly and welcoming. We had dinner and breakfast in the Dubliner, both very good and good value for central DC. We would usually make a point of NOT eating in Irish Bars on holiday. Special shout out to Patrick, thanks for looking after us so well. Would 100% recommend the Pheonix Park Hotel.

Wonderful 2-night stay at the River Inn. Our family stayed in a 1BR suite with Potomac View. We loved our room, the staff was amazing and very accommodating, and it was convenient to have an onsite restaurant and in-suite kitchenette. The hotel is located in a pleasant, safe, tree-lined neighborhood that is close to the metro and very accessible to DC. This hotel is a gem. Highly recommend!
The staff could not have been friendlier. We felt welcome and appreciated. The neighborhood felt safe and was convenient to Metro. The whole hotel felt clean and comfortable. Loved having the kitchenette. Having the restaurant onsite was a godsend since it was very hot during our stay and we did not want to venture out just for dinner. Food was Perfect!
The dinner at the Tavern was excellent and the location is close enough to everything I need. Also, it's on the road for me to leave town.
