This was my first hostel experience in the US and I can definitely say it exceeded my expectations. HighRoad has amazing location. It has a bus stop right next to the property as well as bike rental service. Also, I liked that they provided very informative brochures for everything that you might need. I personally liked their list of places where to have a breakfast. I felt completely safe, because in addition to card system for entering your unit they have a card system for entering the hostel. Stuff was very nice. They have everything that traveler might need such as shampoos, hand cream, disposable razors, etc. Towels were for free. You have an opportunity to use as many as you need and not only one. I really enjoyed their lounge zone where you can seat at the and of the day, sip your tea (they have a huge variety of it), read the book (they have a huge variety of it too) or play a board game if you're not traveling alone of if you're extravert.

Tento penzion typu walk up inn se nachází v luxusní severozápadní části Washingtonu, 10 minut chůze od stanice metra DuPont Circle. I chose this location because it was so close to my family members. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the innkeeper was attentive. I would definitely stay their again.
