Location was perfect (7 min from the beach, 1 min from the center). Owner very helpful (e.g. tecommended truly nice dinner and breakfast place). The property itself - stylish and clean.

This place is exceptional in every way. From the secluded and beautiful location to the chic and spacious villas and facilities such as the pool and sauna. The thought and attention to detail that has gone into creating a place where you can truly relax and recharge in privacy is quite unique. Add to this the personal touch of the hosts Marco and Maria who look after every detail and share their wonderful food and wine in their dinner and wine experience, and the package is complete.

Excellent breakfast in the restaurant adjacent to the hotel gardens. The setting was exceptional with mountain views and beautiful tropical gardens. We stayed in an old style villa which was charming and rustic. The pool and reception bar area was beautiful and the staff very friendly and welcoming.

It was our first apartment booked in Madeira. At the beginning we loved the location and view. But then you realise that it’s bit far from supermarkets, restaurants…. The towels had strange smell, we couldn’t use them. Bed covers, pillows and blankets looked not changed from long time, had smell of sweat….

Excellent location, very friendly staff ( nothing is a problem), warm pool water, great choice of food at breakfast time and dinner, it was our 2nd stay at Pestana Promenade and we are looking forward to coming back in 2025 :)

Large room and beautiful bathroom with a great shower. A lot of mirrors an some room to put up your clothes. Fresh breakfast. On request they make fresh eggs and bacon! And very nice is the hottub! Just ask and they heat it for you. They also have a very good restaurant and tavern in about 50 metres. Very good to eat! We went there several times to drink a poncha or to have dinner.

One of the best guest houses we've ever been to. The rooms were lovely and clean (the rooms were cleaned every single day of our stay) and both of the hosts are very sweet. Beautiful terasse where we chilled all the time and ate our dinners. What we looked forward the most by booking this stay was the breakfast everybody in the comments praised about and we weren't disappointed! There was everything - from warm bread to fruit salad to a desert. Couldn't imagine a better stay in Funchal for the price we paid. Obrigado!

Location. Is the best premium spot all around the city. Unbeatable. The kindness and diligence of the staff (special mention of the dinner personnel). Was really a five star service. Excellent relationship value / price. During the dates of my staying there were excellents offers and choices (half pension rate, just breakfast, suite, estándar room, etc)
