Staff is welcoming, helpful and they have an excellent breakfast! Rooms are perfectly warm with heaters. Location is in the main square. Definitely recommend & would stay again!

I suffered diarrhoea before arrival & felt ill on arrival. Kind receptionist made me & brought local remedy drink to my room & happily allowed check in at 11.30am. Liked room balcony. Liked large, airy breakfast room with half glass walls on 3 sides. Great view.

Conveniently located 4 blocks from the main square, Chikan Hoteles offers accommodations in Arequipa with free WiFi access. A complimentary American breakfast is served daily. We arrived in Arequipa, Peru mid-morning and were allowed an early check-in. The hostess, who I believe was the owner, greeted us warmly. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the showers were nice and hot. We stayed there for 2 nights before heading off to our next adventure, but due to a change of plans (my husband’s altitude sickness) we returned to Arequipa with no hotel reservations anywhere. We walked the 10-15 minutes from La Plaza de Armas to the Chikan hostel crossing our fingers the entire way, hoping they had an open room. They did and greeted us like family once again. The second room was just as nice as the first. We also had a delicious hot breakfast every morning we were there. Overall, a very nice place to stay in Arequipa.

This is a 2-bedroom apartment, it's not big but it is very nice and is located in the historic area, in fact, when I was speaking with a woman at one of the museums she recommended visiting a particular neighborhood for its historical significance, and it is the one this apartment is in. It's quiet, has hot water, and has most everything needed in the kitchen, the one thing that would be nice to have is a bottle opener. I would also recommend the owners get a real coffee maker, not just a kettle to heat up water, but a proper "cafeteria" for preparing filtered ground coffee, "cafe molido".

Situated in Arequipa’s picturesque historical district, Mirador del Monasterio has comfortable rooms with free Wi-Fi. A daily buffet breakfast is offered and the airport is only 8 km away. Our room was clean and updated y specifically like the bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
