Mangawhai Lodge is located in Mangawhai and features a shared lounge. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. At the inn, every room comes with a patio. Jeanette was exceptionally organised making a delicious breakfast each morning. The view from the lodge was exceptional. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings.

Just 2 minutes’ walk from Lake Taupo, Acapulco Motor Inn offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen satellite TV and a DVD player. We had a 2 bedroom hotel room. The beds were comfortable, breakfast was included. The hotel is in a nice location near the lake, free parking.

The beds were all very comfortable and great that most had ensuite bathrooms. Clean and very well equipped. Good water activities. Rob was very friendly and helpful.

Set in National Park, 16 km from Mount Ruapehu, National Park Alpine Lodge offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Such a cosy lodge, the perfect spot to relax after a long day tramping/skiing/exploring the national park. I've been travelling and staying in hostels for the past few months and so decided to treat myself to a private room at the Alpine Lodge and I was so glad I did...the beds are made with a fleece mattress cover, sheets and pillow slips and this made for one of the comfiest nights sleep of my life - I never wanted to get out of bed! Decor is a little dated but this really led to me feeling more cosy and at home. The kitchen is huge and really well kitted out and clean. All facilities are clean and functional and the little shop adjoining the lodge is great for food bits. Thanks to the lovely staff for making my stay at the NP so memorable!

Located in central Matamata, 20 minutes' drive from the Hobbiton movie set, Horse and Jockey Inn offers 50 MB of free Wi-Fi. It’s a nice location, there is a countdown across the road.

Situated conveniently in the centre of Auckland, Cosy studio on Queen Street offers air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre and free WiFi. I enjoyed the using the gym and swimming pool.
