Everything was GREAT! I wanna come back just to stay here! Great location, quiet, comfortable mattress, beautiful pool and cozy atmosphere. Very helpful staff who directed us to eat at Samna, which was also amazing 😍

Located in Ticul, Posada El Jardin features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, terrace, and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy garden views. Our room was actually a bedroom, bathroom and a living room with a small kitchen like space (no cooking facilities just fridge). We were surrounded by trees and nature despite the fact that Posada El Jardin is located in the city centre. There are restaurants and shops walking distance from the place, and with a car (or a motor taxi) you can get anywhere in 10 minutes. The room was comfortable, fresh towels and linen, toiletries, air-conditioning, wi-fi anything you would expect. It's a rustic style and it may seem dated but actually it has its charm. The owner is very kind and helpful.

Located in Valladolid, Yucatán region, Habitaciones Colonial Zaci is set 45 km from Chichen Itza. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The room was very comfortable and clean. The location is fantastic, only a block away from the central plaza. It was easy to walk to many places in the city. I liked the style of the room and thought that it added to the experience.

Saak Luúm Ruta Puuc features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Sacalum. WOW. Rarely does a property exceed our expectations - but this one really impressed us - the buildings are super nice, the grounds well maintained. We stayed in the apartment with our family of 4 adults. The beds were comfortable. The pool clean and the perfect refreshing temp (and cleaned thoroughly every morning!). The coffee at breakfast was some of the best drip coffee we've had so far. The bedrooms each had air conditioning that worked perfect, plus extra furniture for clothing. The small details like extra-nice windows (and lots of them) for natural light in the apartment, and a fully functioning kitchen with a working gas stove (another first for us). The whole place feels safe, warm and comfortable. I saw some negative comments about the town of Sacalum but we enjoyed the town. I will write - it is a typical town, with many friendly people who will smile and wave when you greet them. It's the first town where kids shouted out "Hola!" to us as we were walking around. The town centre has a big fresh food market and certain evenings there are people selling fresh cooked food. We enjoyed the town and 100% would stay here again. There is a nice corner store 1/2 block away with everything you need. Also a cold beer store with fair prices and good service. BONUS - Our son is a musician/ singer and the acoustics in the apartment were amazing!! If you feel like singing :) 10/10 would happily stay again.

Featuring a garden, terrace and views of pool, Hotel Maria's Nicte Ha is set in Progreso, 300 metres from Progreso Beach. The staff were incredibly nice! Very communal and friendly place. Felt very good for long term stays as well as short term. Good kitchen where you can cook your own meals, that was a big plus for me.

Casa Coronado Izamal offers air-conditioned rooms in Izamal. There is a year-round outdoor pool and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Great location, walkable to town and right next to the ruins/pyramid. Wifi was decent compared to other places we stayed at ! Staff was very friendly, rooms were very spacious and clean. Looks like they are doing some renovations too, so they clearly upkeep the place!

Set in El Cuyo, 100 metres from Playa El Cuyo, Casa Gajah Hotel Cuyo offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. I won't say much about the place, it's as described - it's basic but has everything you need, beautiful terrace, 3 minutes to the beach. I want to say about the people who run it: Federico and Elkin, you made our stay a truly welcoming experience, it felt like home away from home! Such caring warm people, they treated us like friends who came to visit, not just customers. If you like quiet pristine nature, genuine warm people, highly recommend staying at Casa Gajah. I hope to be back and spend even more time there.
