Posada El Jardín is an eco-friendly property that offers free Wi-Fi in public areas, sun terraces by the outdoor pool, and a palapa that serves coffee for a fee. We only stayed for one night, but we really enjoyed it. The beautiful garden with a pool was delightful. If we had more time, we would have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

Set in El Cuyo, 100 metres from Playa El Cuyo, Casa Gajah Hotel Cuyo offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. I loved Casa Gajah’s close proximity to the miles-long uninterrupted beach, just a short 1 block walk away. I enjoyed long walks on the beach, watching the sunrise, and collecting shells (the beach is the most amazing beach for shelling that I’ve ever encountered -I came home with lots of “treasures”, lol). The owner Federico is a friendly soul who makes guests immediately feel welcome and like family, and his sweet and kind assistant King is also very helpful. The on-site dog Spartacus (“Sparta”) is such a gem -so well behaved, respectful and sweet. I appreciated the positive energy in the hotel, and enjoyed the special design touches throughout, such as the bathroom design and color in my room. The Italian restaurant a short walk from the hotel is not to be missed -delicious food and pasta made from scratch. I enjoyed my stay at Casa Gajah so much that I ended up extending for another night! It’s an amazing value for your stay!

Situated within a few steps of San Bruno Beach and 300 metres of San Benito Beach, San Bruno TROPICAL Villa With POOL features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in San Bruno. Very clean, large and comfortable. Full kitchen was great

Located in Valladolid, Yucatán region, Habitaciones Colonial Zaci is set 45 km from Chichen Itza. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Loved the details in the room and the space- it really felt like a different world from Valladolid, but was so close and walkable. The staff were incredibly nice and responsive, and the filtered water in the lobby was icing on the cake.

Featuring a garden, terrace and views of pool, Hotel Maria's Nicte Ha is set in Progreso, 300 metres from Progreso Beach. The room (#2) was well appointed with a kitchen (and small appliances), 2 little couches, TV, bed, bathroom with shower, little dining table. The pool was excellent and the general grounds were clean and well laid out. There are hammocks, tables and lounges available for guests. The front end greater and main contact was Ruth. IF you need something for the kitchen (cooking oil, flatter frying pan); just ask. I would consider this place good for a 2 week stay and as a base for trips to and beyond Merida.

Casa Coronado Izamal offers air-conditioned rooms in Izamal. There is a year-round outdoor pool and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Great location, walkable to town and right next to the ruins/pyramid. Wifi was decent compared to other places we stayed at ! Staff was very friendly, rooms were very spacious and clean. Looks like they are doing some renovations too, so they clearly upkeep the place!

Pleasant, comfortable, clean room professionally managed by very kind and helpful people. Recommended!
