Then I found this place and we decided to go. Did not regret! We had our dinner at Cesis. And breakfast at Valmiera. Perfectly designed and maintained rooms, comfortable sleep! Perfect spot to watch sunrise 🌅

Situated in a renovated historical building on the Vaidavas Lake, Guest House Mazais Ansis offers accommodation with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. It is only 400 metres off the A3 motorway. The room was amazing with a good view on the lake. Friendly staff who also manage a restaurant downstairs with an amazing terrace.

Good room, great restaurant. Great value with the provided breakfast. Very nice lady served the breakfast and even gave us some apples from her own yard for the road.

This small and cosy hotel is located in the very centre of Cesis, only a 5-minute walk from the castle park. Our first visit in Latvia. This hotel was like a travel fifty years back in time in a perfect way. Vary calm very clean very quiet in an excellent location. Big parking with very few cars. Spacious room. Big bathroom with a window. Excellent local breakfast served individually to your table. Very friendly young people serving you. The master of the house was an individual like in moovies ontly, we liked him very much!
