Our first visit in Latvia. This hotel was like a travel fifty years back in time in a perfect way. Vary calm very clean very quiet in an excellent location. Big parking with very few cars. Spacious room. Big bathroom with a window. Excellent local breakfast served individually to your table. Very friendly young people serving you. The master of the house was an individual like in moovies ontly, we liked him very much!

The owner of the guest house is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the bathroom had a bath with a shower. There was a fridge outside the room for communal use and cups/ glasses for use on the room. Good quality towels were provided. The guest house is in a lovely quiet area within walking distance of the train and bus station.

The receptionist was just great - after seeing, how tired I was by arrival, she upgraded me to a room facing inneryard - so the noise from the main street would not affect my sleep. It was totally a proactive move and greatly appreciated. The rooms are small, but cosy and the breakfast is just what you need - just the facility is quite tight there. I have stayed there also earlier and enjoy the location very much as well.
The staff are exceptional and really go above and beyond for you. The food (breakfast & dinner) was outstanding and huge portions. The spa was beautifully clean and the facilities provided were exactly what was needed after a long day sightseeing.

Guest House Garoza is one of the best in Latvia - we've just felt in love with this place. The host was amazing - just 3 minutes from the sea, in very beautiful quiet location, surrounded by the pine trees. The interior is above all the expectations - with attention to every single detail, comfy, stylish. The dinner we had and the breakfast were both very delicious and we enjoyed the hospitality of the staff. Thank you so much!
The halfpension is really good value for money. Both breakfast and dinner is delicious. Great clean place. Short walking-distance to everything.
