Cozy, old style, but very comfortable and quiet. The location is amazing- few meters from sea coast- beautiful, unspoiled spot… The host was helpful, nice and welcoming. Dinner in the restaurant is the best in the big region of Latvia- Kurzeme. Nice place to hike- to the coast of The Baltic Sea.

Second time visiting, as a room happened to open up last second. Hosts are very helpful, central location, and very reasonable rates make Portoss a great pick. Offering a seasonal outdoor pool and views of the garden, Dvēseles veldzes dārzs is set in Ziemupe, 25 km from Liepāja and 30 km from Pāvilosta. It was surprisingly nice. The owners don't do it justice with the photos. The photos look like the trailer is in a field. But actually it's near a forest it has a small park with a fountain near by. Really nice
