We had an amazing stay with great food and extremely helpful and welcoming staff and can only recommend this place. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in the area! We really regret that we only stayed for dinner on our last night, we should have eaten here every day, the food was just amazing!

Gististaðurinn er staðsettur í Kanazawa og Kenrokuen-garðurinn er í innan við 4 mínútna göngufjarlægð. Was nice to stay somewhere different than your typical hotel room and to experience a ryokan. Location was great once we oriented ourselves. Easy walk to the castle grounds and the Higashi Gaya district. Only 3 rooms upstairs and once we checked in we didn’t see any staff so we were free to come and go as we pleased. Amenities were clean and sleeping mats very comfortable. Free wifi in the room was helpful. Family Mart for morning coffee only a 10 minute walk away. Air conditioning unit cooled the room down quickly- a necessity as we visited in August and heat was intense!
