Set in Onomichi, 25 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, BONAPOOL offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. More than what I expected it to be. Free to use Kitchen has a time limit (but that's a given because of the trouble it'll take to clean and disinfect the cutlery), bicycles were also free to use.

Area Inn Fushimicho Fukuyama Castle Side offers rooms in Fukuyama near Shibuya Museum and Sanzo Inari Shrine. With a bar, the 2-star inn has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. I stayed at the 4-person female dormitory for 2 nights, the only thing I regret is not booking more nights here. I dropped off my luggage at the cafe before checking in. When I came back later in the afternoon to check in, the staff helped carry my suitcase all the way upstairs to the dormitory (in a different building but less than 1 min away) for me. The beds are first come first serve, but they are all spacious. I was surprised to see how clean and cozy the space felt. Plenty of room in the shower and toilet, large sink. Great location, right outside of train station and bus terminal. I 100% recommend staying here for any solo female travelers. You also get 10% off at some of the nearby restaurants and cafes. I look forward to staying here next time I visit Fukuyama.
