Innisfree House is a stunning victorian guest house. The owner and staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating. Beautiful poster bed and very comfortable. Amazing breakfast and excellent service. Will definitely stay again when visiting Dundalk.
Localization in a sleepy tiny village, very nice and helpfull owner. Nice pub across the street and good restaurant - Rustic Inn just 5 km away in next village.
This is a very small village, but it was located 15 minutes up the M2 from Waterford, so it was conveniently located. The village was very small, so other than the Inn, there was not much there. This was definitely a tavern first and Inn second as the check-in desk was a bit cluttered and not very attractive. However, the rooms were very nice and the inn was quaint and historic.
The location is superb - close enough to City Center and transportation options (Heuston Station, the Luas, Bicycle station) to make getting around exceptionally easy - but not in the maelstrom of tourist Dublin. Being right next to the Phoenix Park - a short walk to the people's gardens and zoo - made it also quite a beautiful place to be. The rooms are comfortable, and kept clean and tidy quite regularly. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Nancy Hands Tavern - a few doors down is a great local place for dinner & drinks.
this was definitely one of the best places we stayed while in Ireland the rooms were awesome and the tavern and restaurant were great! Maggie and Megan were the best hosts they were so accommodating and friendly! It was great to be able to have drinks and a great dinner/breakfast!
Friendliest staff I've ever come across at a hotel. They all seemed happy to be there. Can't commend them enough. The food menu was simple but very good. Best burger I've had in Ireland. The room was very well furnished and very modern despite the rustic appearance of the Inn, making for a very comfortable stay in a lovely setting.
Only word to use is Wow! a little gem. a short walk into town with plenty of places for dinner. The breakfast at Faythe is amazing, home cooked breads and super hot cooked to order full Irish. This guest house comes highly recommended.
This place is lovely. Full of rustic charm. Very nice owners. Ben & Jerry, the dogs, are great fun. The place is surrounded by sheep. Do thaitin sé go mór liom. Daoine iontacha ar fad is ea iad na úinéirí. Bíonn na madraí Ben agus Jerry ag pleidhcíocht timpeall na háite agus tú ag baint taitneamh as cupán tae saor im aisce. Bíonn radhcanna dos na caoirigh le feiceáil agat amuigh ón bhfuinneog is tú ag ól an tae céanna. Ar fheabhas!
Fabulous real Irish experience. Lovely country inn. The rooms were a great surprise huge and totally modern on the floor above the rustic Inn.
