The village where the property is located is famous for its craftsmen, especially potters and basket makers, and there are plenty of wonderful places to see around. The place is a 15 min ride to the city on motorbike (very easy to get a Grab or Gojek for a couple of euros). The houses Andy built are beautiful and confortable, made with old carved wood pieces repurposed from other buildings. If you are interested in a off-turistic experience, I highly recommend staying here.

At the accommodation every room comes with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. It was cheap and amazing 100 out of 10!!!! The location, the vibe, the staff, it was all amazing. She is so kind and helpful, try to accommodate your needs. I love the fact that they have a communal kitchen we can use. They also have a yoga shala where you can do your workout and stuff. Definitely will be back!

At Penginapan Kahan every room is equipped with a seating area. The owner is very polite, helpful and resourceful. The room was large and apparently you can request a fan, even though it's quite cold already. All the utensils you need are available in the kitchen area, with a gas stove and a clean sink.. Anytime I travel solo heading to batu, for sure I will stay at this place. Very recommended
