The location is excellent, right in the middle of the holiday village of Thorpeness which is quaint, busy in the day and quiet at night. The restaurant is busy , though and worth booking. The rooms are lovely, very individual, well thought out and exceptionally clean, warm and welcoming. Tea and coffee facilities were good quality. The staff are truly lovely, friendly but not over friendly and the food was excellent. Their breakfast choices are wonderfully eclectic and locally sourced. We love this place and return regularly.

This small family-owned and run country hotel in North Suffolk was once a rural public house; today, it has been sympathetically renovated and still retains its historic charm and character. Large and comfortable room, super king-size bed, amazing food in the restaurant and the friendliest, most welcoming staff you could hope for. Dog friendly too. We'll definitely be back for more.

Apartment was clean and comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy the weekend. Appreciated the breakfast provisions. Host was welcoming and friendly.

Built in 1450 the Bull Hotel is a timber house in the charming East Anglian village of Long Melford. The former Coaching Inn offers en suite rooms and fine food. The room was a good size. Loved the old world charm of the hotel, there is nothing like this in Australia.

The White Horse in Beyton has 3-star accommodation with a shared lounge and a bar. Very quiet location but close to major roads to get you where you need to go, great pub atmosphere where everybody is friendly, great breakfast and evening meals, outstanding room and ensuite, very good value for money and of course you have the historically Beyton geese outside on the green

Set in Rickinghall and with The Apex reachable within 26 km, The Bell Inn, Rickinghall offers a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. Coffee was the best ever and food was fantastic.

Situated in Aldeburgh, The Cross Keys, Aldeburgh offers beachfront accommodation 90 metres from Aldeburgh Beach and features various facilities, such as a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. B’fast ok but didn’t have bran flakes that I wanted. Location perfect.
