Staff were excellent on arrival and throughout the stay. Food was really good quality. Location is great for scenic walks and visiting Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Parking at the rear is free overnight 6pm-8am, then a charge applies.

Situated in Winchester and within 20 km of The Mayflower Theatre, The Black Hole has a terrace, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Fun decor, comfortable beds and we loved the little roof terrace. The connection between the (brilliant!) pub and the hotel makes it a very convenient place to meet friends.

Set in Winchester, within 500 metres of Winchester Cathedral and 800 metres of Wolvesey Castle, The Westgate offers a bar. Free WiFi is available throughout. I had exceptional service from the manager, as my card wasn’t working, so he directed me to a place that would take cash for dinner. Parking is across the road at the public parking garage – don’t park on the street, you get fined. There was a classic English pub, which looked so inviting. I was lucky to be part of their breakfast launch, which was free. It was a fabulous breakfast, and I didn’t need lunch after that! The hotel is centrally located, so walking to the sights, such as the Cathedral, is possible. Would definitely go back again.

Just opposite Swanwick Marina on the River Hamble's banks, Harper's Steakhouse Southampton is located just 6 miles from Southampton. Excellent venue, room was lovely and clean also the dog package really good. Bar area very clean and comfortable. Food was excellent and service from the staff was top notch. Breakfast as well highly recommended. Would definitely look at returning to this venue.
