If you are looking for a quiet place to stay the Plough and Harrow is for you. Ideally situated for everything you would like to visit in the Beacons without the hustle and bustle. The genuine friendliness of Sue, the land lady, and not forgetting wee doggie Paddy, her adorable dog. Beds super comfy and room/shower immaculate. Let’s not forget the locally sourced food which was all locally sourced. Breakfast was delicious and supper beautifully presented and yummy scrumpy. Absolutely first class all the way

A gem stop over for the Brecon Beacons. Lovely old pub with newly refurbished rooms, nicely decorated. Good shower. Good brekkie! great service and Linda was so nice. There isn't much else in that area apart from sheep, so book yourself into dinner at the pub downstairs. It was perfect for us as we were pretty exhausted from our trip to date, lots of walking and so the comfy beds came as a godsend. We slept very well. A lovely quiet night!

Great location in a charming period inn that has been renovated to a high modern comfortable standard. In the heart of Wales next to the English border with lots to do in the location from hiking the Long Mynd, visiting historic Montgomery or the exceptional Powis Castle and Gardens. The room was comfortable and of a good standard, nice spacious bathroom and breakfast was exceptional.
