We loved everything about this property. The rooms were exceptionally clean, bed extremely comfortable. The shower amazing. Our evening meal was delicious as was our breakfast. The price for our room & meals was very reasonable. Staff were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble. It was in a lovely quiet location not far from the main town of Harrogate. We are planning on staying there again on our way back from Scotland.

Lovely community Inn, felt welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Good atmosphere, with lovely food. Had an event to attend in Catterick so wasn't too far to travel. Situated in a peaceful village.

We booked one of the suites in the courtyard, it was lovely, real comfy large bed, everything you needed in the apartment, and a lovely little patio area too. All the staff and owners are really lovely, courteous, friendly and can't do enough for you. Nice quiet area even beside the pub. We will definitely be back!!

Situated in Litton, 49 km from Ripley Castle, Queens Arms Litton features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Lovely old Inn with stunning views, a microbrewery, award winning pies and beautiful walks straight from the door. The Inn is in one of the quieter Dales down a single track road. There is ample parking outside. It has a beer garden and tables outside the front of the building. Best to book dinner as it is very popular and quite small inside.

Set in Starbotton, 48 km from Ripley Castle, Fox and hounds starbotton offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a bar. The pub has a wonderful atmosphere and is everything you expect a rural Dales pub to look like downstairs. Very friendly greeting on our arrival and taken to our room which was fabulous. Recently refurbished with a modern/traditional style, bright and airy with a fabulous bathroom and huge walk in shower. Very comfy beds with lovely fresh smelling pillows. We ate the chicken supreme at dinner which was worthy of a Michelin star! Best meal I’ve ever had in the Dales. Breakfast was also delicious. We had a great nights sleep with no noise heard from the pub. Great views all round too. Superb value for money. Thank you Karen and Ian.

Situated in Pickering, 10 km from Dalby Forest, The Cayley Arms Inn features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. This 4-star inn offers free WiFi. We had a really lovely stay in the Cayley Arms. Becky and Tim are very hospitable and can't do enough to make your stay memorable. I always think if you have plenty of locals then the place is good and this is definitely the case here. The food and service is very good. They offered lots of tips and advice on where to visit in the area. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.
