Lying in the heart of the New Forest National Park, The White Buck is a former country house boasting 20 bedrooms, free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking. Location was idyllic, Dinner and Restaurant was exceptional as was breakfast!

Set in Lyndhurst and with The Mayflower Theatre reachable within 16 km, The New Forest Inn offers a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. The breakfast options were plentiful and the food was excellent. There were local beers on tap. The menu is a gastro pub menu and the food was outstanding. Just be aware that the rooms are above a pub, so you will hear the “locals” enjoying a pint! It was, however, quiet by 11:00 or earlier. Manager, Rob, was most accommodating as were Hannah, Alicia, Verity and Kyle. We also enjoyed chatting with the housekeeper, Violette. The New Forest Inn was located near trail heads into the New Forest. Downtown Lyndhurst is a one mile walk and has many shops, food establishments and The New Forest Heritage Museum.

Situated in Boldre, 26 km from The Mayflower Theatre, Turfcutters Arms features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. THE WITH REAL LOVE PREPARED GENUE ENGLISH BREAKFAST WAS PERFECT BUT MOST WE LIKED THE VERY CLOSE SITE TO BEAULIEU MOTOR MUSEUM AND THE SMALL BUT SO NICE PRIVATE ROOM-TERRACE !
