The evening meals and the breakfast were very good, all the food was of a good quality and cooked well. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. As the weather was cold in the evening the owner put the heating on for us.

On the idyllic banks of the River Wye, this 15th-century pub offers bright rooms with free Wi-Fi and spectacular river views. It serves fresh, seasonal food and local real ales. Great location to do lake walk, canoe or paddleboard right out the front of the accommodatiin. Fantastic breakfast huge selectiin and super nice staff at breakfast and check in.

Set on the banks of the River Wye, The Saracens Head Inn offers light, modern rooms with free WiFi and private bathrooms. Guests can enjoy freshly cooked breakfasts and seasonal meals. Fantastic spot and great accommodation- nothing to fault. Only wished we’d stayed a second night.

We stayed here for a night after a day’s hiking and helicopter flight. The staff here were all welcoming and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. They were full in the restaurant the evening we stayed, yet they accommodated us and our food was hearty and tasty. We had breakfast and were spoiled by Steve…he does a mean breakfast! The location is beautiful too. Rooms clean and comfortable with everything you need for a short stay. Lovely place, lovely people. Thank you…we will be back!

Set in an 18th-century farmhouse with views across the Shropshire countryside, Old Downton Lodge is just 15 minutes’ drive from Ludlow’s historic town centre and castle. Picturesque building in glorious scenic location. Room was magnificent and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and engaging.

In one of Herefordshire’s prettiest villages, this charming inn offers free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Breakfast, dinner and room all exceptional. Service excellent. Gardens lovely.

The rooms were very clean, everything was of a very high standard. Fantastic atmosphere, great people. Thank you very much :)

I love that I had my own room that was outside of the main and felt private. my room was lovely and very comfortable. it was perfect for what I needed while I was in the area visiting my mum.
