Excellent location, food and staff were so accommodating as we had a small dog in our group (he stayed at the Royal Lodge) and breakfast was moved and service in the bar area to suit him! Staff were also very forgiving when we set off the fire alarm with a birthday cake candle ! The location is fantastic as we were lucky enough to have the room with balcony overlooking the rope ferry etc !

The Lion es una posada rústica situada en la tranquila localidad de Herefordshire Leintwardine. The Lion was warm & welcoming & a wonderful place to come back to at the end of a day exploring the area. The food, both breakfasts & dinners were exceptional.

The building was from the 1400s, but nicely updated. The room was very large and very clean, with a separate sitting area and two TVs. There was also a fine restaurant on site. The staff was lovely and very helpful.
