Offering a restaurant, The Plough Inn is located 15 miles from York. The property offers free private parking, and free WiFi throughout. Room was clean and comfortable and had everything required. Food was excellent and staff very friendly and attentive and went out of their way to accommodate our requirements. Car parking outside room was a welcome bonus.

When i arrived i went to the bar to check in, bar staff are really nice and friendly, payment was quick and easy, was shown how to enter and exit the premises if i was staying out late/leaving early in the morning which was handy as i was off early the following morning, was told where to leave the room keys etc. After that i was given directions to my room which was easy to find. The bed was sooooo comfortable, I didn't want to get out of it the morning after. The bedding and towels are clean and fresh, I ordered the homemade beef stew, it was amazing. I highly recommend ordering it if its still available as it sells out fast. I'm definitely making it my go to place if I'm in the area.
