The staff at reception desk was extremely helpful. Made a huge effort to understand my broken Spanish. Helped us with public transport. Highlighted bus and tram routes on map etc. Helped us a lot plan visit. Hostel very well situated. 2 buses outside (28 and 58.) Direct to town centre. Recommended address for dinner. Hostel very quiet at night. Car parking facilities excellent. Large family room with bathroom/ toilet. Very comfortable beds.

A great albergue right on the camino managed by an amazing host. She went above and beyond to accommodate us. I was able to use the washing machine for 5€. The host drove us to a restaurant to get Bocadillos for dinner (bring your own food if you want something other than Bocadillos (sandwiches) and fries). Beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. The albergue is for pilgrims only. Don’t book if you’re not a pilgrim!

The hotel is ideally located in the city center. The staff is excellent. I travelled with 2 dogs and we even received a brand new toy and the room was prepared for the dogs with a pillow and sheets. There is also a nice sushi place where you can have excellent dinner. There is a very nice big park close buy to walk and relax. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful

Lovely small Pension in great old building. Good check in and check out, could leave luggage until room ready and they gave us towels to take to the beautiful beach about 7 minutes walk away.

Very well located pension, perfect for a short stay or city break. I loved the location, could walk everywhere. There was a cafe/pub directly opposite which suited me for breakfast or a drink in the evening after sightseeing. The host was friendly and helpful, he gave me good advice on city-wide closures due to a football homecoming event. As, while I was there the whole city celebrated winning the Copa Real, providing a slightly crazy but fun atmosphere :) Aupa Athletic!

Location is unbeatable, close to the beach, shops, pintxo bars, 15min walk to bus or train station, groceries at the front door. There is an elevator, the pension is in the 1st and 2nd floor. Enough shared bathrooms, my room was quiet because it was looking to inner courtyard. There is a kitchen with many pots and pans to cook a simple meals fridge for the guests and your key is a bracelet to open the main door, kitchen and your room.

For those on the Camino, this is a great stopping point for the stage ending in Markina, where there is not a lot of accommodation. The Camino forks off and leads directly to this Pension, so you don't have to go through Markina and then out to here. There are a couple of tavernas in the village and Markina is about 30 mins walk away, along a lovely riverside pathway, or there is a local bus service a couple times a day.
